Grief Counselor, Nurse, Massage Therapist and Healer
I have been involved in Pastoral Counseling for over thirty years and have been a massage therapist for close to twenty years. In my pastoral counseling, I have specialized in grief therapy, both sudden and long-term. In my bodywork, I specialize in shiatsu, aromatherapy, reflexology, and chinese massage. Shiatsu works with the chinese meridians of acupuncture, and is noninvasive.
So my work incorporates all of these different disciplines. Over the years I have conducted various training workshops, teaching lay and professional people how to work with loss. I have worked with various foundations who support families with loss, specifically as a result of terrorism, such as the Koby Mandel Foundation.
